I bought a load of 12F510 devices as they were really cheap and didn't realise they aren't compatible with the SourceBoost C compiler. Are there any C compilers for these chips?
I believe the CC5X compiler is compatible with these devices. Take a look at http://www.bknd.com/cc5x/ Compilers weren't designed for them because they have very little ram and virtually no stack making compilation difficult but it should be up to the simplest of tasks.
Does your programmer support the chip? Not many do but I recall the Pickit 2 does.
